How to identify staining film

Automotive insulation films can be classified into four categories based on their different materials and processes. They are: dyeing film, ordinary vapor deposition process metal film, high-end magnetron sputtering metal film, and nano optical insulation film

Dyed films can be divided into two types based on the type of material used: dye dyed films and pigment dyed films.

How to identify stained films:

Firstly, to check the clarity, you can compare two films and look at the distance. Slowly move the film to see if there are any broken lines in the scene. Another thing is to squint at the membrane and see if there are orange lines like orange peel. If there are, it is a relatively poor membrane. Line the diaphragm on white paper and observe the color. If the color on both sides of the diaphragm is inconsistent, it must be a dyed aluminum composite film, not a magnetic controlled metal film.

Secondly, the most important thing is to peel off the membrane and smell it to see if there is any irritating gum odor. Due to the presence of harmful gases such as benzene and toluene in the rubber layer of inferior films, there is a strong odor. The harmful substances contained in these adhesive layers will continuously emit with the exposure of the sun, seriously affecting the health of car owners.

Thirdly, the color of the inferior solar film has added installation glue, which makes the film very thick and has poor elasticity. It lacks toughness and elasticity to the touch. You can shake it, a good solar film will have a crisp sound, and even some metallic texture.

Refer to the technical information provided by the manufacturer

Fourthly, it can also be identified through transparency, reflectivity, thermal insulation, etc. Thin films with high transparency usually have low insulation properties; The more reflections there are, the higher the insulation, but too high reflections can reduce transparency and affect visibility. Therefore, only films with high transmittance, low reflectivity, and good thermal insulation are considered good films.

Fifthly, check if there is a complete certificate of conformity, testing report, and manufacturer's warranty card. Only the manufacturer's warranty card is trustworthy. The manufacturer's warranty card usually contains the real and verifiable name, phone number, address, and website of the manufacturer.

Characteristics of staining film:

1) Dark film can isolate visible light and has privacy;

2) Cheap prices;

3) It does not block infrared radiation and has poor thermal insulation effect;

4) Easy to blister, fade, etc. after use.
