How to identify automotive film

Automotive insulation films can be divided into four categories based on their material and process. They are: dyeing film, ordinary evaporation process metal film, high-end magnetron sputtering metal film, and nano optical insulation
Dyeing film can be divided into two types based on the type of material used: dye dyeing film and pigment dyeing film.
How to recognize color film:
Firstly, to check clarity, you can compare the distance between two layers of film and slowly move the film to see if there are any dashed lines in the scene. There is also a side view of the membrane to see if there are orange lines like orange peel. If there are, this is a relatively poor membrane. Place the diaphragm on white paper and observe the color. If the colors on both sides of the diaphragm are inconsistent, it must be a composite film with dyed aluminum plating, rather than a metal film for the magnetron.
Secondly, the most important thing is to peel off the film layer and check for any irritating gum odor. Because the rubber layer in inferior films contains a large amount of harmful gases such as benzene and toluene, it has a strong odor. The harmful substances contained in these adhesive layers will continuously emit with the exposure of the sun, seriously affecting the health of car owners.
Thirdly, the color of inferior solar film is added to the installation glue, which is thick and has poor elasticity. It lacks toughness and elasticity to the touch. You can shake it, a good solar film will have a crisp sound, and even some metallic texture.
Refer to the technical data provided by the manufacturer
Fourthly, it can also be identified through transparency, reflectivity, thermal insulation, etc. Thin films with high transparency usually have low insulation properties; The stronger the reflectivity, the higher the insulation, but excessive reflection can reduce transparency and affect visibility. Therefore, only films with high transmittance, low reflectivity, and good thermal insulation are considered good films.
Fifthly, check if there are complete certificates, test reports, and manufacturer warranty cards. Only the manufacturer warranty card is trustworthy, and the manufacturer's warranty card usually contains the real and searchable manufacturer name, phone number, address, and website.
Characteristics of staining film:
1) Dark film can isolate visible light and has privacy;
2) Cheap prices;
3) Basically not blocked by infrared rays, with poor insulation effect;
4) Easy to blister, fade, etc. after use.
